David is a Development Consultant at BETCO Housing Lab, where he supports site selection, affordable housing funding applications, and post-award compliance requirements.

 

David has worked in the affordable housing space since 2018, beginning his career in asset management at a large LIHTC funds management platform, which oversaw a multifamily investment portfolio originally capitalized at $9 billion across 47 states and Puerto Rico.

 

He then joined Westlake Housing, an owner-operator LIHTC platform, where he worked across the acquisitions, property management, and compliance teams—gaining experience throughout the full life cycle of affordable housing deals. He was directly involved in deploying over $100 million in capital across multiple LIHTC developments.

 

A Houston, Texas native, David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Southwestern University.
