Connor is a Development Consultant at BETCO Housing Lab, assisting with site selection, affordable housing funding applications, debt and equity structuring, closing, and post-award requirements. 
 

Connor brings extensive experience in affordable housing finance and policy from his time at the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA), where he managed the Multifamily Direct Loan Program. In that role, he oversaw the review, closing, and administration of federal housing resources, including HUD funding programs that support the development and preservation of affordable multifamily housing across Texas. He also brings experience in housing policy and legislative affairs, having managed legislative initiatives and stakeholder engagement related to affordable housing and housing tax credit investments.

 

In addition to his housing finance background, Connor has worked extensively in community focused nonprofit programming, supporting initiatives related to food insecurity, arts and culture, and community engagement throughout Central Texas. His diverse experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors gives him a comprehensive understanding of the partnerships and resources needed to create successful affordable housing developments.

 

Connor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas State University and is a lifelong Central Texas resident. Outside of work, he enjoys running the Town Lake Trail, supporting Austin's local music scene, and spending time with his dog, Lola.
